The night before, Bilmas and Tammy brought me to this amazing bookstore called "Bluestockings" in the Lower East Side. I couldn't spend much time there because Bilmas and I had to head to the Art Brut show, so Melanie and I came back the next day. First thing she did was walk up to their stand full of pins, looked at the first brown one she could find (her fave colour) and then screamed my name! What a great find!After the bookstore, we rushed over to The Pearl Theatre to see Tennessee William's Vieux Carre. It ruled! I loved the way they set up the stage and their general use of space. A lot of people disagreed, but I thought it was perfect.
After the play, I headed BACK to Bluestockings (I went there at least 15 times after as well), bought a book, and hungout with some folk in Justin's room.
We had a french braiding party...
